How to Use the AeroPress XL Metal Filter

1. Prepare Your Coffee Grounds: Use a medium-fine grind size to ensure a balanced extraction.
2. Assemble the AeroPress: Place the metal filter in the filter cap and attach it to the AeroPress XL chamber.
3. Add Coffee Grounds: Add your desired amount of coffee grounds to the chamber and shake gently to level the bed of coffee.
4. Pour Water: Pour hot water (around 85°C to 90°C) slowly in circular motions over the coffee grounds.
5. Create a Vacuum: Partially insert the plunger and pull upwards slightly to create a vacuum, which helps hold the coffee and water in place.
6. Stir and Steep: Stir the coffee grounds and water mixture, then let it steep for about 1-2 minutes.
7. Press: Slowly press the plunger down to extract the coffee into your cup.
8. Clean Up: Rinse the metal filter and AeroPress parts with water, or place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
