Crafted by a proudly South African textile company founded in 1999, this tee comes from a manufacturer with over 25 years of local expertise. Starting as a one-man operation, they have grown into a team of more than 80 staff drawn from surrounding communities.
Every step of production happens right here in Cape Town. They source their yarn ethically, knit and dye the fabric locally, and run a reliable production line that delivers consistently exceptional quality. Because everything stays in South Africa, supporting this tee means supporting local jobs, local skills, and a local industry that genuinely cares about doing things right.
About the Tee
The Quaffee Classic Tee is a 160gsm, 100% combed cotton. It is substantial enough to feel premium, yet breathable enough to wear all day. Combed cotton means the yarn is refined before weaving, so you get a smoother hand-feel, less pilling, and a finish that holds its shape wash after wash.
We carry it in two considered colours — African Sage and Light Grey — each chosen to sit quietly alongside the Quaffee left-breast logo without competing with it. The branding is intentional but understated; this is a tee that lets the wearer do the talking.
Sizes run from S through to 3XL, so there is a fit for everyone on the team.
