Troubleshooting your Jura

Here are a few things to try before calling your nearest service centre:

Pull out the tray, reach your hand in beyond the flap thing, that feels like an ice scraper and feel for a disc with a dimple in the middle. Use your fingers or a lint free cloth and clean the gunk and built up coffee grounds off of it. Then do two cleaning cycles with tablet. Machine should work like new now. ;)

Switch off the coffee machine and insert the drip tray back in without the grinds dump box. Turn machine back on and the brew unit should realign itself. This fixes the problem when the cleaning flap (or hinge that feels like an ice scraper) inside gets stuck and won't close with the dump box. Removing the dump box allows the flap to close.

If the forther is not working. Froth water instead of milk through the frother. Froth at least 500ml before trying milk again, and that should flush it. Try flush your frother every time.

Power cycle your machine at least twice. This will reset all errors. What is a power cycle? The best way to do it is turn your machine off. Unplug it from the wall count to 10, then plug it in again and turn it on.
